Most Intel CPUs have a maximum thermal operating temperature of 100 degrees Celsius, and most AMD CPUs (whether AM4 or AM5 platforms) have a maximum operating temperature of 95 degrees Celsius. As long as you are not hitting these thermal limits, your CPU is within normal operating range. If you notice that your CPU's temperature is high at idle (on the desktop with minimal programs running) that could be a cause for concern depending on the age of the system, and what type of CPU cooler that is being used.
