Warranty for Standalone Components

This warranty applies to individual components sold separately and not as part of a complete system built by Empowered PC. Examples include, but are not limited to, graphics cards, memory, storage devices, processors, motherboards, power supplies, and cooling components.


Coverage

Standalone components are covered for the greater of:

  • The manufacturer’s warranty, or
  • One (1) year from the original date of purchase, for new components

This warranty is valid only for the original purchaser and is non-transferable.


Warranty Service & Support

Empowered PC should be the first point of contact for all warranty-related inquiries. Our team will assist with troubleshooting and determine the appropriate resolution, which may include manufacturer warranty support or return authorization, if applicable.

Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA)

All returns must be authorized in advance with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number issued by Empowered PC.

Returns received without an approved RMA may be refused, delayed, or subject to additional processing time, at Empowered PC’s discretion.


Repair or Replacement

If a component is determined to be defective under normal use during the applicable warranty period, Empowered PC will, at its sole discretion:

  • Repair the product, or
  • Replace it with a new, refurbished, or performance-equivalent item

Replacement products may not be identical but will meet or exceed the original product’s performance specifications.

By submitting a component for replacement, you agree to transfer ownership of the original item to Empowered PC.


Shipping Costs

  • Within the initial return period, shipping may be covered in accordance with the applicable sales channel policy
  • After the initial return period, the customer may be responsible for shipping costs associated with warranty service
  • Customers are responsible for ensuring products are properly packaged to prevent damage during return shipment.
  • Empowered PC is not responsible for damage incurred during return shipping due to insufficient packaging.


Data Responsibility

Empowered PC is not responsible for any data loss, data corruption, or data security under any circumstances. Customers are responsible for backing up all data prior to returning any storage device or component. Empowered PC does not provide data backup, recovery, or transfer services.


All data stored on returned products may be permanently lost during inspection, repair, or replacement.


Exclusions

This warranty does not cover damage or failure resulting from, but not limited to:

  • Improper installation, configuration, or use outside of manufacturer specifications
  • Physical damage, abuse, misuse, or neglect
  • Unauthorized modification or repair
  • Removal, alteration, or damage to serial numbers or manufacturer labels
  • Electrical damage, including improper voltage or power supply issues
  • Issues resulting from incompatibility with other hardware, software, or system configurations
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Shipping damage after delivery


Limitations of Liability

Empowered PC’s sole obligation under this warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of defective components as described above.


Empowered PC is not liable for any damage to other hardware, systems, or components, or for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or business, arising from the use, installation, failure, or inability to use the product.
