Keyboard needs to be unplugged and re inserted to start my PC.

For some specific units, we've seen this issue before. In order to confirm this isn't a configuration or setting issue, please do the following :


  1. Check BIOS Settings
  2. USB Legacy Support / Keyboard Support > Make sure this is enabled. Some MSI boards disable legacy USB keyboard init by default
  3. Fast Boot, if this is enabled, try turning it off, (Sometimes Fast Boot skips USB initialization)
  4. Wake from USB / USB Power > Ensure USB power is enabled for boot devices.
