LAN Gamer PC Unboxing and Packing Removal

Modified on Mon, 22 Jul at 11:58 AM

To help protect and minimize possible shipping damage from bumps and vibration, we pack certain systems with Instapak foam or other packing materials to protect your purchase.

Empowered PC uses these materials to fill open spaces within the desktop to protect the precious internal components. This offers a cushioning and bracing protection during transition from our build center to your front door.

Step 1

The side panel is secured by two thumbscrews. Remove the thumbscrew from the upper right and lower right corner of the case. When viewing the system from behind, this will be on the right-hand panel. In most cases it should not require a screwdriver.

Step 2

Gently slide the side panel off of the computer. Do this by pulling towards the rear of the computer, the panel should slide and then fall easily away from the computer. Remove the panel and sit it somewhere safe.  After removal of all packing materials, please verify your GPU is plugged in all the way as removal of the packing material might cause a shift

Step 3

Carefully remove the packing material. It should come out easily without having to apply any force. If there’s significant resistance, look for any obstructions and see what’s restraining the packing material. Save the packing materials, in case you need to ship the computer in the future. Now simply replace the side panel and secure with the thumb screws. You’re all set!
